Is there anybody can tell me something about the US system? And the differences between the states?

The United States has a federal system of government. This is a relatively decentralized system with powers divided between the central government in Washington, DC, and the state governments. The central government's powers are limited by the constitution. The states have those powers not explicitly given to the central government. State policies vary, especially regarding taxes. Some states have income taxes, some property taxes, some sales taxes, and some, a combination of these.
