I've always thought of cold all the time, like with snow hats and men drinking vodka and strong women. I guess testy tempers also? A very strong military. But then again, I'm from Texas and I'm not a cowgirl, I couldn't ride a horse to save my life, and the only accent I have is using the word, "ya'll". And there's no tumbleweeds. lol. So stereotypes are frequently very incorrect.

I'm Russian! ))) And I adore myself xD Some people think that there are white bears walking down the street in Russia... It's wrong!!! There isn't cold everywhere, and we have really beautiful nature!

Loud and cheery, fun people who don't take life too seriously and who are friendly if you get to know them. They also have a really dark sense of humour (just like British people) which I find hilarious. Their culture is very interesting and they have a unique outlook on life.

About russian character, I would say most of Russians are very emotional, artistic and immoderate in their feelings (have testy tempers as starxshyne noticed above). I think the national character is reflected in the language. Russian language is very emotional, with great deal of adjectives, with several words for every meaning - with different nuances. (I'm Russian btw, though not quite typical one :))
