What impression does name "Harry" give people in western culture? Why does it create such an image?

"Harry" has a friendly feel because it's a shortened version of the rather formal "Harold". The Harry Potter series is an excellent example of extra meanings in people's names and places. PS. I just checked, the meaning of "Harold" is "ruler of an army". ':)
