Hi, For me, whatever the language I learn, the bast way to learning to write is reading, reading and after writing for tournament, but is fundamental you reading, can be books, news paper, well what you do like... I am a Brazilian native speaker, and this can be use for your one language too because, in Portuguese (Brazil) for example, a lot of peoples don't know how to write very well, same in Japanese ( I am learning too) with kanjis, and this can e fix if you reading... And for training write, one way I like to use is help, can be here or in community like Live Mocha, and help native English speakers who want to learning your language, same time you help somebody you write in English and also can ask for they help you too. Well, is it! I still learning English so forget my mistakes to write... See you!

You have to practice a lot to develop a style of writing by increasing your vocabulary and the usage of different modes of expression. It takes time and needs a lot of reading, speaking ,practice etc. As for the short run and your coming exam and since you don't have much time there are some tips to help you here: - Learn some essay phrases and expressions that you can almost use in any essay when discussing any topic : - Phrases to enter additional information: as a result, in addition, furthermore, moreover, hence, otherwise, then, thus, so,” etc. - Talking about some sequence: at first, first of all, second, third, next, finally, later on, meanwhile,” etc - For summing your thoughts up : “finally, in any case, in summary, to sum up, all things considered, all things said, all in all, by and large, in final consideration, in any event, in conclusion,” etc. - To write something on the contrast and comparison: on one hand, conversely, instead, likewise, on the contrary, to the contrary, yet, rather, to the contrary. Using lots of those expressions enhances your style and add coherence to your writing. - Try to develop your main idea of the essay with vivid and specific facts, events, quotations, examples, and reasons. Since your ability to write complex sentences didn't develop yet , just keep it simple , important is your sentences are clear and convey your message well. - Proofread to check your possible grammatical erros and typos. It is impressive to deliver an essay with minimum mistakes. - Try for now to rehearse writing an essay, choose a topic and start using some expressions you learned, learn the transit techniques from one paragraph to the other and memorize some vocabulary you think could be used in various contexts to possibly use them in your coming exam.
