What's the difference between "trainer" and "sneaker"? are they all mean"sports shoes"?

Yes, "trainer" is British English and "sneaker" is American English. You can use either one and people will understand fine.

Yes, they both mean the same thing. As the previous answerer said, "sneakers" and American English and "trainers" is British English. However, the most common word in America is "tennis shoes".
