What's the difference between these words: remember, recall, remind?

Jura gave a perfect answer. Here is another example: "I can't recall, when is her birthday?" "Yesterday." "Ah! Why didn't you remind me?" "After all the trouble you got in ladt year, I thought you'd remember."

Recall and remember are synonyms. He says he can't remember that person. He says he can't recall that person Remind is to jog someone's memory to do something. I had to remind her to feed the cat. He couldn't remember having been in Montmatre, so I reminded him of the time he and I took the train to Paris.
