Stuff is an informal way of saying an unspecified quantity of things.(material, household or personal objects) We can use stuff or things in the same way but both refer to more than one object. Stuff is uncountable and the verb is always singular. so, 'This is my stuff.' but 'These are my things.' Thing singular is not synonymous with stuff and has many different meanings.
