At the end of January, I received a message from Chinese online book store. “There is a online lesson program to study Chinese and Chinese culture free of charge.” I was interested in the program and I applied it . It called “Chinese bridge “ Chinese language and cultural exchange project “Let’s Chat” seminar for Japanese students, Tianjin Foreign Studies University. It hold from March 1 to March 7 for a week. At first I was very nervous about my poor Chinese level. There were total 100 students. so, the teacher divided two classes . My class was B. My class was 50 people. 10 percent were men. 90% of classmates were female university students who have studied abroad Two classmates were interpreters. I was surprised to see that they are Chinese geek. They love Chinese culture, movie, singer, artist and history. I have studied Chinese online school. It was the first time to see Japanese who likes to study Chinese. I am the third oldest student. One is a elderly man who retired Job. The other is a woman who loves to play Chinese traditional music. In the beginning of the class at the first day, all of students made a self introduction. Somebody wore Chinese traditional dress and played the erhu. Somebody played the guitar while singing Chinese song. Somebody played the violin. They are very talented. There were many programs such as calligraphy class, cut paper art class , reading poem class and so on. My hardest homework was to make a Video blog for 2 minutes. There were 3 themes such as Foods, scenery, culture. I chose scenery. I didn’t have any experienced to make and edit a short video with subtitle and narration. We chose Sichuan traveling story in 2019. My husband kindly helped me to edit video. It took 3 hours to just make a small video. I was very tired. However, I learned a lot of this class. It broaden my horizon. My homeroom teacher called me a cool middle-aged woman. After taking part in this class, I felt a sense of accomplishment at having finished the c
