Hi everyone! Hope you are doing well. I’m Ryo. Let me introduce my favorite cartoons in Japan today. The first cartoon I want to share is “Blue Giant” drawn by Shinichi Ishizuka. The main character is Dai Miyamoto, who lives in Sendai city which is famous for beef tongue. He is a normal high school student, but after watching his first Jazz live show with his friend, he was so moved and decided to be the best tenor sax player in the world. There is a lot of drama as he advances his techniques and career. You can’t read it without weeping. You can purchase “Blue giant” up to Vol.10, but after that Dai moves to Europe in “Blue giant Supreme” - Vol.1-11. Now he is in the U.S. -“Blue giant Explorer” and the manga is currently at Vol.2. They are in the process of currently making more manga for this series.
