I’m from Brazil. My parents are Marcelo and Dalila. My father is a 48 year old well known perfumer and designer, my mother, in her turn, works as a professor. I have two grandmothers, they are Nalva and Valdete. Nalva is a 64 year old stock trader, and owns a university called UNISA. Despite that, Nalva had been a professor when she was younger. Valdete, in her turn, is 67. She works as a seamstress since her childhood. I have no grandfathers, since both of them died. However, my great-grandfather is 96 years old. He’s retired, but when younger, he worked as an engineer. Can anyone please correct my pronunciation?

Your prounciation is excellent. You did not make any pronunciation mistakes and the only thing I would suggest is practicing longer phrases -- for example my father is a forty-eight-year-old well known perfumer and designer - by grouping the words and saying them BACKWARDS. For example: designer. Perfumer and designer. well-known perfumer and designer. Then "forty-eight-year-old" (2x) then put it all together " A forty-eight-year-old well-known perfumer and designer". I don't know why it works better when you do it backwards like that, but it really does. It helps a lot with the intonation and rhythm of English. Try it and let me know what you think!
