The average life expectancy nowadays is close to 80 years on a worldwide level. As far away as a universal cancer vaccine or a cure for diabetes may seem today, science has made impressive advances in the past half century that would have seemed like fiction to our grandparents.  There's a saying that "Prevention is better than cure". And it seems to me right cause preventing diseases Is, first of all, easier than curing them, and secondly, it is way cheaper. The progress in medicine made it possible to prevent cancer, viral diseases, chronic diseases. The best way of preventing viral diseases is vaccination. The vaccination has become safer it saves hundreds of lives Nowadays. Along with the prevention, the treatment is also developing. In the previous century such diseases as pneumonia, diabetes, HIV, some types of cancer like leukemia were almost 100% deadly, but now some of them like pneumonia, can be cured totally, others can find a good treatment, and people having them live long and happy life. Organ transplantation is a medical procedure in which an organ is removed from one body and placed in the body of a recipient, to replace a damaged or missing organ. As the rising success rate of transplants and modern immunosuppression make transplants more common, the need for more organs has become critical.
