I am very sorry to hear that you injured your knee. I strongly recommend you see a doctor to make sure it is not serious. In my opinion, as long as your knee bone is not damaged, everything will be okay. The most important thing in life is our health, for people of our age. If we have a healthy body, we have a healthy life. I hope you will recover soon and wish you all the best.
Last winter, I had severe pain in my left shoulder that made me wake up two or three times during the night. I went to the hospital for some treatment to relieve my pain. Also, I had physiotherapy a few times, but that seemed useless. Later on, a colleague recommended me to see a private doctor. He gave me some plaster (?) and Chinese medicine. After taking the medicine, I could finally raise my left shoulder, though there was still some pain. There is a saying, “The pain and limited movement of your shoulders will get better when the weather gets warmer.” Anyway, I hope I am healed soon.
* Sorry, but I'm not sure what you meant by, "plaster."
