Written Exercise 55 -Happy Lantern Festival! February 26th is not only the last day of the Chinese New Year but also the Chinese Lantern Festival. People in the area where I live usually have tang yuan (汤圆) and enjoy beautiful lanterns to celebrate the Lantern Festival. When the Lantern Festival is over, it means people go back to normal life as usual. I was taught that the next day of the Lantern Festival was the day of opening lucky money or red envelope(红包) when I was a child. It is like a kind of Boxing Day in western countries. So you can imagine how happy the children were while they were opening the lucky money. I looked forward to the Lantern Festival when I was kid. Happy Lantern Festival!

I guess Lantern Festival is just one day? If so the hong bao is given the day after it. So did you get two lots of 红包?One at New Year and one at Lantern Festival?
