I think this is such a hard question for an Italian. I don't want to sound
nationalistic (because I'm not at all) but the whole of Italy is wonderful. Of course
there are places like Rome, Venice, Naples or Florence which are the most famous
and they totally worth a visit. Although, have you ever heard of Matera, Alberobello,
Trieste, Ravenna, Bagnoregio, Agrigento (and I could list many more)? They are as living
open-air museums. I live abroad and I don't think that Italy is the most
beautiful country in the world, but I guess it could be included in the top ten.
Food, culture, art, nature, history: all within the boundaries of a boot-shaped land.
