The Tim じぁん!!!
Hello, I am Lena and I like cheeseburgers. There is burger-joint next to my home. In the morning, before my mom drives me to school, we often have breakfast there. Cheeseburgers they serve are plain and simple, but yummy. Generally I do my burger halfsies with my mom, because even the smallest burger is still quite big for me. Talking about ingredients, they just place the beef-patty and the slice of cheese on the bun, then combine the buns. Sometimes they also add pickles in it, but I would pick them out if they did that. By the way, just for the record, only the beef patty burgers are real burgers. The rest, they’re all sandwiches, like the chicken thigh sandwich. Even though they still call them burgers. I reckon this could be the biggest misunderstanding about burgers in China. Thank you for listening.

Hello! I am Lena who is a genuine cheeseburger-lover! There is a burger-joint next to my home. In the morning, before my mom drives me to school, we usually eat our breakfasts there. The cheeseburgers they serve are plain, simple but yummy. Generally I do my burger halfsies with my mom (or I share my burger with my mum), because even the smallest burger is still quite big for me. Talking about ingredients, they just place the beef-patty and a slice of cheese on the bun, then top the burger with another piece of the bun. Sometimes, they add pickles in the bun. I would remove them if they did it. By the way, just for the record, only the beef patty burgers are real burgers. The others are all sandwiches, like the chicken thigh sandwich. Even though they call them burgers, I reckon this could be the misperception about burgers in China. Thank you for reading.

The cheeseburgers they serve are plain and simple, but yummy. Generally I do my burger halfsies with my mom, because even the smallest burger is still quite big for me. Talking about ingredients, they just place the beef-patty and the slice of cheese on half the bun, then put the other half on top. Sometimes they also add pickles, but I pick them out if they do that. By the way, just for the record, only the beef patty burgers are real burgers. The rest, they’re all sandwiches, like the chicken thigh sandwich. Even though they still call them burgers. I reckon this could be the biggest misunderstanding about burgers in China. Interesting. An American friend told me they only call beef ones burgers. In the UK I woukd say chicken burger, beef burger etc. A sandwich is made with bread not a bun. Is this the first time you have told us your English name? Lena is nice, it reminds me of one of my favourite students. She lives in Changsha.
