Aug 26, 2021. Today I read a short story by William Faulkner, "A Rose for Emily". I read it several times in order to understand it better. Faulkner didn’t tell the story according to the actual chronological order of events that happened to Emily; instead, he presented different events in Emily’s life according to people’s memories in the town. (Or "as remembered by people in the town")
