My dog, which is a dachshund, bit me. You could just say My dog bit me - the middle of the sentence is additional information. I am sixteen, however I'm not allowed to vote. I'm a native speaker so I'm crap on grammar but I can tell you what looks right and what doesn't and you'll pick that up with practice.
