Pros and Cons of Online Learning
Online learning has grown in popularity in recent years and more so during the pandemic, when most schools and classrooms were closed for a year. The online courses have given more flexibility and easy access to learning by sitting anywhere in the world. To study online, you need a laptop or cell phone and the Internet. In the case of a pre-recorded lesson, it becomes more convenient for students to watch the same video multiple times, rewind, and pause the video if it is unclear with particular playback.
One of the biggest drawbacks of online lessons is that there is no real interaction between students and teachers like in traditional lessons. No real doubts resolved, less attention is paid to students by teachers, which can lead to distraction of students from studying.
In today's world, we need online and traditional classrooms to have a balanced approach between hands-on learning from online learning and the actual interactions of traditional learning.
