It's time for a career change (This is my writing practice. Appreciate if anyone could give some feedback on this!) —————————————————————- A few months ago I finally packed it in and headed back into the job market. The reason why I tendered my resignation is that I had a heavy workload and often needed to work overtime. I couldn't maintain a healthy work-life balance and it was really burning me out. On top of that, I somehow lost passion for my job and was thinking maybe I was not cut out for it. My job requires constant negotiations with clients and suppliers. Between this, I had loads of paper work to fill in. There's a couple of times I slaved myself away to meet the standard and the deals still end up falling through. Besides, because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all of my business travels that I was looking forward to were unfortunately cancelled. I came to realization that it might be the perfect time to make a career change. While I was between jobs, I landed a part-time teaching job in after-school center for the time being. The job offers flexible schedule so I can make better use of my time during the day. I've been taking some courses and reading books to enhance my skills. Recently I've come to realize that teaching is a rather rewarding job and I really enjoy it. I'm thinking to go part-time for a while and in the meantime, trying to figure out my next career move.

Great job! Have fun teaching and good luck on the job search! *tendered is technically correct here, however, it sounds hyper-formal. We would just say “I handed in my resignation,” or “I resigned.”
