When I hang my laundries last night, I fell and hurt my left wrist and left ankle. To make a matter worse, my glasses was broken. Because I face-planted. I was so shocked since I really have liked them for long time. One side lens has come off and the frame looked kind of bending. That made me more sad than what I was injured. So I decided to take a day off today and go to the glasses shop for repair. To be honest, I gave up fixing them, but I asked store members if they could handle them when I got to the glasses store. And they said "It may take a while to repair and peel a part of paint, but I think I can fix them". They used very polite expression and were so nice. What's more, the repair was for free. Thanks to them, my glasses are working perfectly again. I can never thank them enough!

When I was hanging my laundry last night, I fell and hurt my left wrist and left ankle. To make matters worse, my glasses got broken because I face-planted. I was so shocked since I really had liked them for long time. On one side, the lens came off and the frame looks kind of bent. That made me more sad than that me getting injured. So I decided to take a day off today and go to the glasses shop (opticians) for a repair. To be honest, I gave up fixing them, but I still asked the store staff if they could when I got to the store. They said "It may take a while to repair and fix the paint, but I think I can fix them". They used very polite expressions and were so nice. What's more, the repair was for free. Thanks to them, my glasses are working perfectly again (maybe use “my glasses are back to new”). I can never thank them enough!
I like the use of expressions. You really challenged yourself with the tenses too. I am sure it was not easy, very impressive.
