I would ( I’d) travel around the world by cruise ship if there was a chance.
You can say I would travel around the world by cruise ship but if you travel the world it already includes ‘ around’ part. The earth is round 😅 so it just sounds unnecessary for me to add ‘ around’ I would say: I would travel the world by cruise ship, if I had a chance. 2nd conditional is If + past simple, would+ infinitive If I had a chance, I would go to Australia. I would go to Australia, if I had a chance ( there was a chance). We use it to talk about actions in the present or future which are hypothetical, unlikely to happen, imaginary. Hope it helps
