These lessons will be based on topics or interests that you have or for situations where you need to use English in your life: a job interview, travel or at work, for example. If you decide to take a trial lesson with me, I will find out your level, discuss your needs and use this to plan future lessons.

English Conversation

In these lessons, we will work on areas of English in more detail. If you need more help with grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary or writing, then these classes will increase your skill and build your confidence. We will work with a textbook and other materials based on your level and individual needs.

English Skills

If you would like to focus on improving your pronunciation and learn the 'music of English', then this is the course for you. We will look at intonation, sentence stress and the correct production of vowel/consonant sounds. We will work on reducing pronunciation problems particular to your native language and you will learn to speak in an expressive and natural way.

British Pronunciation

Maybe you are thinking of travelling or working in the U.K and would like to know more about the country that gave you the English Language. We will look at different aspects of British life, art, music and literature. I will also help you with any English language problems that may arise.

If you are taking the IELTS, CAE or FCE exam, I can help you prepare and achieve a higher score. We will work with books, pdfs, files and websites to give you the right practice to reach your goal. By looking at topic vocabulary, grammar usage and techniques such as scanning and skimming, you will gain the confidence you need to do well in the exam.

Here are some methods I use that my students enjoy!

1. Casual Conversation: We will have free-form, organic conversations about topics that interest you. This method is suited to all lesson lengths, 30-45-60 minutes.
   
2. Video Discussions: You send me YouTube (or other sources) videos of your choice (e.g., vloggers/ TED talks) before the lesson and I will watch them. Then in the lesson we will discuss the topics and vocabulary from the video, and I will help you understand any difficult parts. This method is suited for longer lessons, 45-60 minutes.

3. News Article Discussions: We will read news articles together and discuss topics of interest. This method is suited for all lesson lengths, 30-45-60 minutes.

I am also happy to adapt the lesson around any other source of material you are interested in!

In this lesson,students will take part in some speaking,pronounciation,reading and listening tasks to know what he or she needs to improve on and also give more attention to.Also,we will talk about what the students aim and expectations in studying English language be it travelling purposes,education,work e.t.c.,As an experienced tutor my methods of teaching include communicative language teaching,total physical response,visual aids,task-based learning and technology integration,just to name a few.The main focus of this lesson is to first and foremost get to know the student and what he or she expects to achieve as a students on this platform and also play my role as a passionate tutor to help the student meet his or her needs with satistaction.

In this lesson we will focus on fundamental elements such as greetings and introduction,key grammar basics,simple sentence structures,essential vocabulary and phrases and practice tips,just to name a few.Furthermore,this lesson will also emphasize on error correction be it through pronounciation,writing,spelling or reading tasks.
