*Why We Lose Focus in Life* Losing focus in life is a common problem that many people face today. One major reason is the constant distractions around us. With smartphones, social media, and endless notifications, it's easy to lose track of time and priorities. Another reason is the lack of clear goals. When people don’t know what they truly want, they can feel lost or unmotivated. Stress and mental health issues also affect concentration. When our minds are full of worries, it's hard to stay focused on the present. Additionally, poor time management can make people feel overwhelmed. If we don’t plan our days properly, we may end up doing too many things at once and completing none of them well. Finally, external pressures from family, work, or society can make us feel like we are living someone else’s life. To stay focused, we must stay true to ourselves and set meaningful goals.

In Kenya, tea is more than just a beverage. It is at the heart of our hospitality. It is also one of the country’s leading exports, with green, lush tea plantations stretching across several parts of the country and supermarket shelves lined with different tea flavours. We call it chai, and most of us enjoy it with milk. In many Kenyan homes, tea is the first thing you are offered when you visit. In fact, hospitality itself is often wrapped up in the Swahili phrase “Karibu chai,” which simply means “come in for tea.” It is less about the drink and more about the welcome. Interestingly, chai also shows up in everyday slang, though not always in a positive way. Sometimes it is used as a polite way of referring to a bribe, with both the giver and receiver calling it “chai.” And in true Kenyan hospitality, whenever I gift my non-Kenyan friends, I always make sure to include several varieties of Kenyan tea for them to enjoy. One of Kenya’s leading tea companies uses the phrase “Fahari ya Kenya,” meaning “the pride of Kenya.” I feel that really captures the role of tea in our country.

The other day, Back to the Future, which is my favorite movie in the world, was shown in a movie theater, so I went to see it as soon as I could. Watching this film on the big screen was an incredibly powerful experience. The large screen and high-quality sound made every scene more dynamic and immersive, allowing me to notice details that I had never paid attention to before. Even though I have watched this movie many times at home, seeing it in a theater gave it a fresh and exciting feeling, as if I were watching it for the first time. One of the most impressive aspects was how well the movie has aged. The story, characters, and humor still feel relevant and entertaining today. Marty McFly’s adventures, Doc Brown’s eccentric personality, and the clever time-travel plot continue to captivate audiences regardless of generation. The pacing of the film is excellent, and there is never a dull moment from beginning to end. What I love most about Back to the Future is that it perfectly balances science fiction, comedy, and heartfelt moments. It is not just a movie about time travel, but also a story about family, friendship, and believing in your own potential. Watching it again in the theater reminded me why this film is truly timeless. No matter how many times I watch it, it never loses its charm, and my love for this masterpiece has only grown stronger.
