These expressions help you respond when someone tells you good news, bad news, or just information. Let’s practice together. Part 1: Good News When you hear good news, you can say: • Wow! • Amazing! • Really? Example 1: “My team won the game!” → “Wow! That’s amazing!” Example 2: “I passed my English test!” → “Really? Amazing!” Part 2: Bad News When you hear bad news, you can say: • Oh, no! • That’s terrible. • No way! Example 1: “My phone broke yesterday.” → “Oh, no! That’s terrible.” Example 2: “I lost my wallet.” → “No way! That’s terrible.” Part 3: Neutral Information When the news is not good or bad, just information, you can say: • I see. • Interesting. • Really? Example 1: “I have math class every Monday.” → “I see.” / “Interesting.” Example 2: “I usually wake up at 6 a.m.” → “Really? Interesting.” Great job today! It was sunny today. After the gym, Vivian told me I will have that important vocal exam next Friday. As I expected, it requires a formal dress. Luckily, I happened to have brought one back from my trip to Japan – a black and white one-piece with a floral collar and cuffs. It was the most elegant, suitable formal dress you could find in Asia, or so I thought! Surely it cost me a fortune. Guess what? After Vivian saw my photos trying it on, she said it looked too funerary. I mean, yes? So? That’s kind of the point, isn’t it? She called my best formal dress funeral-ready. Fine! I’ll just wear a white tee and a random skirt. I don't think they even understand what formal dress means.

I caught a cold again and was depressed. I was infected with a different cold a week ago, but I thought prevention was important.

I took a midterm exam in Italian. This was pair exam. But my pair was late.

This morning, I studied English and worked on a report. In the afternoon, I watched a Chinese drama on Netflix for the first time. It was really interesting, so I’m going to keep watching it!

Today, I had run through for the orchestra concert. I felt a little nervous, but I played pretty good. I want to have more confidence. After that, I went to McDonald with my friend. We talked a lot of things. It was very happy.

I want to go to Australia now. In there, I want to see Tasmanian devil. When I went to Australia last March, I couldn't see it.😞
