This method does not build rapport. Communication is a two-way street. It entails two or more people who are engaged in a meaningful conversation. Listening is as important as speaking and paying attention to what the other person says is a sign of respect. Not everyone can be an extrovert or most everyone can be a good listener. Having a balance between the two is essential to create a pleasant atmosphere. As a teacher, a nurse and a content creator, I learned the most valuable lesson in communication is not just about words, it is about actions and non-verbal cues.” Pay attention to people because everyone wants to feel important.” Speak when necessary and listen intently when you must.
