In this Trial Lesson we will go through the first lesson in my "Conversing in English - The American Way" series. This is the perfect starting point for me to assess your Language Skills because the topic "Talking about Daily Habits and Routines" is a topic simple enough that most Language Learners can talk about it. Beginners will tend to give very simple answers, whereas more Advanced Learners will be able to give more descriptive answers. This assessment will be greatly helpful in knowing where we will start in your Language Learning Journey!

If you're an English Language Learner who already has good basic English Skills, and you want to take them to the next level, these are the lessons for you! 

In these lessons we'll focus on becoming a Proficient American English Speaker. Do you like watching American T.V. shows, movies, or like listening to songs by American artists? Do you sometimes have trouble knowing what they mean when they're speaking? Whether it be idioms, slang, or even regional dialects? Conversing in English the American Way: Your Journey to Fluency in American English

Are you an English Language Learner who has already mastered Spoken English, but feel as you still want to improve your English Language Skills? These are the lessons for you!

In these lessons we will focus on the things that will take your already amazing English to the next level! We will work on accent, perfect pronunciation, and many of the "Little Things" that Native English Speakers do when speaking (Many Native Speakers don't know about these things, it just comes naturally to them). 

These include:
How the mouth moves and tongue placement for perfect pronunciation.

Pronunciation on consonants clusters and other combinations.

Stress patterns.

Intonation.

Linking & Phrasing.

Contractions and Reductions.

All of these seem very simple, but can be difficult because they may be very different from how you speak your Native Language. How your Native Language is spoken can have a huge effect on how you pronounce things in a new language, but with these lessons we'll help you achieve that Native-like Fluency that you so desire!

Native-like Fluency - The "Little Things" that will make you sound like a Native English Speaker. (American English)

We begin with a thorough Needs Analysis questionnaire that you will fill out, and then arrange for a FREE live Needs Analysis interview in which we go over your questionnaire and some follow up questions about your Language Learning Needs. After which I will identify the target tasks that you need to perform to accomplish these Goals. From there I will create a FULLY Task-Based Syllabus that will guide you in acquiring the language you need to perform the Tasks required of you. 

This approach will use authentic language materials that use REAL Language relevant to your Needs, not the overly simplified and irrelevant language materials found in most textbooks. This can include; videos, audio clips, articles, and any other materials that will help you on your Language Learning Journey.

3. I will analyze the data, and begin building your personalized Task-Based Syllabus.
