In a trial lesson, we will start with a simple conversation, getting to know each other and talking about what motivates you to improve your English. Next, we will explore and maybe try some exercises/texts that will aimed at giving you the necessary practice to increase your skills. This trial also gives you a chance to see my approach to language learning, as well as the materials and techniques I utilize to help my students succeed.

Here, you can talk about movies, sports, games, or anything else you like. In addition, I can help you by providing vocabulary and phrases that will allow you to express yourself more fully.

After the lesson, I will provide notes for you that include useful vocabulary and example sentences from the lesson that you can use for your personal studies.

I was required to take a number of courses to prepare me for assisting English learners in reaching their goals, including test preparation in the form of a course titled "LING 568: TESL Testing and Assessment" (https://catalog.csun.edu/academics/ling/courses/ling-568/). It prepared me for designing and administering tests, and also in preparing students for TOEFL and IELTS. Since my M.A. has already been confirmed on italki, I am uploading my transcript as proof that I've taken this course.
