In Trial Lessons, we'll speak about your experience up to now interviewing for jobs, where in the job market you currently are, we'll do a bit of practice, you'll receive some feedback, and suggestions for further coaching sessions. 

Let's speak about your goals, the opportunity for which you're interviewing and begin making a plan according to (1) the amount of time we have to prepare and, (2) your current confidence when interviewing.  

Note - For each class, we'll use a shared google document where I'll take notes while you're speaking.  You're welcome to either join the shared document, or I can send you the notes after our session via italki.

In my Job Interview Preparation Coaching Program, you'll have lots of opportunities to practice speaking about your career, experience, skills and qualifications.  You'll also learn the skills and strategies to have a successful interview with answers that are compelling and concise, and that connect with your interviewer. 

Each session is 55 minutes in length

Each program is structured and personalized, but essentially follows the same pattern.  First, we'll prioritize speaking about your career.  

Second, we'll start working on involving some strategies to improve the way you communicate specifically in job interviews.  We'll learn, practice and improve our use of certain strategies that will help you communicate successfully in your interview.

After that, we'll begin working on speaking about your skills, as well as topics that are more unique to your specific position or industry.  

Each program is personalized, and we'll be working with your resume and a job description that you provide.  

Note - Coaching is something that takes time.  In my experience, the minimum amount of time to prepare is 3-sessions, and the maximum amount of time is 3-months.

One of the best ways to prepare for an interview, is to have an interview simulation.  

Each interview simulation is personalized according to the interview for which you are preparing.  My goal is to put my client in a situation where they have to speak about themselves and their career exactly as they would in an interview.  

Before your simulation - we'll be in touch via italki messages / email to speak about your interview.  A job description or program description will be required.  

Simulation - We'll first spend a few minutes speaking about your real interview, we'll then spend about 40-50 minutes interviewing.  After that, we'll go through some feedback about your interview simulation.  

Following the simulation - You will receive my written notes.  

The most important tip!  Relax!! Don't be nervous.  The objective of an interview simulation is to have an *imperfect* interview, so that I can give you actionable tips for improvement so that the real interview is a bit less intimidating.
