If you demonstrate that you are already confident at speaking, we may also identify areas of improvement such as in your grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, diction, etc. Ideally, we can discuss a general plan for future lessons.

These sessions are for students who want a diligent one-on-one coach to help them increase their overall English fluency through casual conversation practice.

Learning a second language takes exercise - like learning a dance. In order to really get good at speaking English and not lose that ability (not forget "the moves"), it's important that you build muscle memory in your mouth by using the language frequently and consistently. Unfortunately, there are still many people around the globe who currently don't encounter enough opportunities in their day-to-day lives to practice English. 

Many non-native English speakers after reaching a certain level, never improve their communication skills, and in unfortunate cases, some even start to lose skills they had previously worked hard to gain. 

I enjoy helping students improve their own sentences by identifying and/or recalling sophisticated words and then getting them in the habit of incorporating those words into their speech.

Let's chat about topics of your choice unless you prefer Teacher Amelia to suggest some. During these conversations, Amelia will ask lots of questions so you will learn to use the English language spontaneously and practically rather than from a boring irrelevant textbook. We can discuss unfamiliar vocabulary words, and grammatical rules pertinent to your sentences.

In order to get this certificate, you must demonstrate significant industry expertise and experience, typically a minimum of six years working in the field. In my case, I amassed almost a decade of experience. There is also a 150-question multiple-choice exam you have to pass. After passing the exam, you can choose from various options. In my case, I wrote a paper entitled "Legal Considerations for Packaging Professionals".
