In this lesson, we will have a conversation in English about a variety of subjects that interest you, and I will correct your mistakes as we go and type them out for you. The conversation practice lessons will give you a chance to improve your speaking confidence and accuracy, listening comprehension, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and more.

Informal Tutoring - Conversational English

Do you want your child to improve their English speaking, listening, reading, writing, or pronunciation? In this lesson, we will work on all of those skills through a variety of structured and interactive games, activities, songs, and more! I follow the Learnaling Curriculum for ages 4-12, which is roughly aligned with CEFR guidelines, Cambridge YLE exams and TOEFL Primary exam. English for Kids ages 4-14

Improve your English in a formal capacity following a structured curriculum. This course is suitable for students from level beginner all the way to advanced. We will work on all modals of the language (speaking, listening, reading, writing, and pronunciation) through a mix of activities from discussing an article or video to practicing a new grammar point. Every lesson will be tailored to your individual goals and needs. The main benefit of iTalki is the opportunity to speak with a native speaker! Therefore, all lessons will have a focus on speaking and conversation. Reading and writing assignments will be assigned as homework and reviewed at the next lesson.

This was a 120-hour interactive certification program which included courses on teaching ESL, English Grammar, Business English, and teaching English to Young Learners. It covered the fundamentals of teaching English as a Foreign Language with an endorsement in teaching young children. I studied a variety of topics from children's language development to lesson planning to experiential learning, all through a communicative language teaching approach.

I taught preschool and afterschool care to children ages 2-9. This gave me experience working with children of all ages and learning developmentally appropriate activities and expectations for young children.

I taught ballet, tap, jazz and creative movement classes to dancers from age 2 to adult, experiencing the different learning processes of each age group.
