In this fun speaking lesson we watch a video where renowned American 'pit-master' Ed Mitchell shares his expertise in the art of barbecuing. Then, we read about three interesting types of BBQs from three different countries around the world: Korea, Brazil and South Africa.

Students test and expand their knowledge on barbecue traditions around the world while building their vocabulary, discussion, speaking, reading, and listening comprehension skills. At the end of the lesson we will participate in a group discussion activity where we compare BBQ traditions from our home regions or others that we may have experienced before in our travels.
