What is Paradoxical Intention?

Paradoxical intention is a therapeutic technique, primarily developed by Viktor Frankl, that involves intentionally doing or wanting the very thing you are trying to avoid. 

The idea is to break free from the anxiety or fear that fuels the unwanted behavior or symptom.

Here’s the core concept:

The Problem: You’re struggling with a particular issue, and the more you try to fight it, the worse it seems to get..
The Paradoxical Approach: Instead of fighting the problem, you intentionally try to create or exaggerate it.
