“显眼包": “显眼”指明显而容易被看到，因而引人注目；“包”用在动词、形容词后面，指具有某种特点的人，原本“显眼包”指爱出风头，出洋相的人（make a fool (out) of），多少带有一点“嫌弃”的意味。但如今，“显眼包”指外在形象或性格特征引人注目的人，夸赞的意思明显。比如说：我的朋友是个“显眼包”。我有一个显眼包的朋友。
【EN】显眼包: "显眼"means obvious and easy to see, thus attracting attention; "包" used after a verb or adjective refers to a person with a certain characteristic. Originally, "显眼包" referred to someone who loves to steal the spotlight or make a fool of themselves, carrying a hint of "嫌弃". こんにちは。今日は7月4日木曜日です。「5分でわかる日本語」ポッドキャストへようこそ。私は日本語の先生、みわです。今日は、日本の梅雨（つゆ）についてお話しします。

日本には梅雨というものがあるのを知っていますか？梅雨は雨の多い季節です。東京では、5月末から7月初めくらいまでが梅雨の時期です。この時期は、ほぼ毎日雨が降ります。

梅雨は日本のいろいろな地域にもあります。例えば、大阪、福岡、沖縄などです。大阪の梅雨も、東京と同じように5月末から7月初めくらいまでです。福岡の梅雨も同じくらいの時期ですが、少しだけ長いかもしれません。沖縄の梅雨は少し早くて、5月の初めから6月の中頃までです。

でも、私の住んでいる北海道には梅雨がありません。今、とてもいい季節です！涼しくて、天気も良いです。

でも、最近は地球温暖化の影響で、北海道でも梅雨のような天気が続くことがあります。地球温暖化（ちきゅうおんだんか）とは、地球の気温が高くなることです。そのため、気候が変わってきています。昔は、北海道に梅雨はありませんでしたが、今は少しずつ変わってきています。

梅雨は、雨が多いので、少し大変かもしれません。でも、梅雨が終わると、暑い夏が始まります。夏にはたくさんの楽しいことがあります。例えば、花火大会や夏祭りです。たくさん遊んで、友達や家族と楽しい時間を過ごしたりします。

梅雨の時期には、雨が続くので湿度も高くなります。湿度とは、空気中にある水の量のことです。湿度が高いと、部屋の中が暑く感じることがあります。また、梅雨の時期には洗濯した物が乾きにくくなります。

でも、梅雨の雨は、畑にとっても大切です。畑に水を与えます。野菜やお米のために、とても大切です。

ここで、皆さんに問題です。梅雨はどんな季節ですか？

前回、92のPodcastでは、粉もんの話をしました。
ですので、食べ物シリーズでいきます。

今日はトンカツについて。
みなさんはトンカツ、知っていますか？

豚カツ（とんかつ）は、厚みのある豚のロースやヒレのスライス肉を、小麦粉・溶き卵・パン粉をまとわせて油で揚げた料理のことをいいます。

「とんかつ」・「とんカツ」・「トンカツ」・「豚カツ」などいろいろな表記がありますね。「カツ」とだけ書かれることもある。※カツはカツレツの略です。
豚カツという名前の由来は、“豚”の音読みの「トン」と、フランス料理の"côtelettes"（コートレットの英語読みであるカットレット cutlet）の組み合わせからきています。

「とんかつ専門店」は、ごはん・味噌汁をセットにして「とんかつ」を提供していることが多いです。カツ丼と言って、ご飯の上にのせて出す店もあります。

とんかつには、とんかつソース、ゴマ（すり鉢ですり、ソースに混ぜ、それにつけて食べる店もある）をつけて食べることが多いです。

店や地域によっては、とんかつソースではなくデミグラスソースをかけて供するなど、洋食スタイルのものもあります。

豚かつに添えられることの多い生キャベツの千切りは、消化吸収を助けます。おかわりができる店も多いです。

おかわりは、追加できる、ということですね。
キャベツ、ご飯、味噌汁がおかわりできる店が多いです。
