My podcast, "にほんご聞こう" (Let's Listen to Japanese), starts today. This podcast is designed for people at various levels of Japanese proficiency, so I've made adjustments in terms of vocabulary, grammar, and speaking speed. I speak slowly in Episode 1. In the next episode, 1.5, I'll be speaking at a regular pace. Furthermore, the content of the second episode has additional information, so listening to both can be fun for comparison.

The word "みんな" above is a noun and an adverb; in a sentence like this, it becomes an adverb, and no particle is added.

・adverb 
みんな元気（げんき）ですか！
この店(みせ)のパン、みんな かいました。
 
・noun 
みんなのお父さんは元気ですか。
みんなのうしろに 大きいイヌがいます！

”みんな”　は adverb and noun 　

“了”：①助词，动作的实现、完成；②语气词，某种状态的改变、新情况的出现。（“了”有很多用法）
今天我们先来说其中一种用法：动作的完成或者是状态的实现。
例子：吃了3个桃子。买了一双鞋子。下了课就去看电影。（动词-动作的完成）
           今年我弟长高了2厘米。经过3个月的努力，我瘦了10斤。他白了脸说：吓死我了！（形容词-状态的实现）
           我对他有了新的看法。没了信心。（状态的存在）
           他答应了我的求婚。你竟然相信了她的话。（心理状态）
           她病了很多年，只能躺着。自从他的爱人死了，他就疯了。（状态动词）
           我儿子在他的保温杯里养了一条鱼。床上躺了一个老人。（含“状态”的语义特征）
问题思考：今天讲的“了”是英语中的过去时吗？

“了”的用法一

According to a national report, the youth market, and particularly young people aged 16-24 years old, are watching far less TV on traditional sets than they were in 2010. Those still watching on TV sets are typically over 65. This is because there has been a shift to digital viewing (e.g. on You Tube), together with the rise of online services such as Netflix and Amazon.
The report indicates a growing difference in the lifestyle habits of younger and older viewers. On top of that, younger viewers are also more critical of the standard of traditional TV. They complained about the number of repeats and the lack of variety.
