LAS PIÑATAS "MEXICANAS".

こんばんは！Atsushiです。

おととい、昨日と旅行に行ってきました。
ということで、今回はその北海道旅行について、話をします。

今回の旅行は妻と2人で計画していました。
冬が来る前に、遠くに行く旅行をしておこう、ということで、北海道でもかなり離れた場所、網走(あばしり)というところへ行きました。

網走は道東(どうとう)エリアと呼ばれています。
北海道の東のエリアですね。
私が住んでいる場所から、350キロぐらいはなれた場所です。車で約5時間かかる場所です。

網走には何があるかというと、網走監獄の博物館があります。1890年から網走には刑務所があります。その歴史が学べる博物館が1983年にできました。今回はそこに行ってきました。刑務所の人たちがどういう生活や労働をしていたかが良くわかる博物館でした。

その後に、流氷の世界を体感できる、オホーツク流氷館というところに行きました。ここでは、マイナス１５℃の部屋で本物の流氷をさわることができます。そして、その中でぬれたタオルを振り回すと、カチコチに凍る、という体験もしてきました。短い時間しかいませんでしたが、寒い、というより、痛い、痛寒い、という感じでした。北海道の冬の朝は、本当に-15℃ぐらいになるときもあるそうです。

ちなみに、北海道では、そんなビックリするぐらい寒い時や、寒くて痛い時には、"しばれる"と言うそうです。方言(ほうげん)ですね。今年の冬はこのしばれるを使いたいと思います。

1日目は、この後、阿寒湖(あかんこ)という湖の方まで移動しました。その近くではじめてAirbnbで予約したところに泊まりました。日本ではまだAirbnbはそんなにメジャーではないので使っている人はまだ少ないと思います。

今回ははじめて、知らない人の家に泊まる、というおもしろい体験をしました。とてもフレンドリーはホストの人たちでした。そこにもう1組泊まっていたのですが、そのうちの1人は、おもしろい共通点がありました。

その人の以前住んでいた場所が、私たちが住んでいた所ととても近かったんです。そして、その人の今住んでいるところは、私の実家のとても近くでした。みんなでこんなことがあるんだ！とビックリした夜でした。
