В третьем эпизоде подкаста «Кофе с молоком в Мадриде» мы сопровождаем Светлану в её первом путешествии по мадридскому общественному транспорту. Её цель - знаменитый музей Прадо. В этом эпизоде:
Светлана учится спрашивать о маршруте: “Perdone, ¿este autobús pasa por el Museo del Prado?”
Она покупает билет у водителя, сталкиваясь с тем, что нельзя заплатить наличными: “No aceptamos efectivo. Solo con tarjeta.”
Затем она просит водителя предупредить её о нужной остановке: “¿Me avisa en la parada del Prado, por favor?”

В конце она успешно добирается до музея, уверенно используя ключевые фразы.

Этот эпизод демонстрирует, как ещё на раннем уровне владения языком можно справляться с реальными ситуациями: ориентироваться в городе, говорить с незнакомыми людьми, покупать билет и просить помощь.

Are you trying to speak too fast in English?

So you want to sound more like a native English speaker. That means you have to speak fast English, right?

Noooo waaaay :)

There is a danger with speaking fast - you might lose clarity of what you are saying ..

You may think you’ll impress people with how quickly the words come out of your mouth, but what they really want is to understand you.

When you speak too quickly, you might start mumbling, dropping important sounds, or rushing through your vowels. 

Is this the kind of impression you'd like to create? What if people that are listening to you have a challenge with listening, what will this mean? ..

Listen to the recording and to some suggestions I have for you + listen to my speed too and reflect on my example when communicating in English daily 

Making it a permanent habit will make all the difference.

「何だと、おれがきさまに教わってるんではないんだぞ。帰らんか。」
「どうか たったもう一ぺんおねがいです。どうか。」かっこうは頭を何べんもこんこん下げました。
「ではこれっきりだよ。」
　ゴーシュは弓をかまえました。かっこうは「くっ」とひとつ息をして
「ではなるべく 長くおねがいいたします。」といってまた一つおじぎをしました。
「いやになっちまうなあ。」ゴーシュはにが笑いしながら 弾きはじめました。するとかっこうはまたまるで本気になって「かっこうかっこうかっこう」と体を曲げて 実に一生けん命叫びました。ゴーシュは はじめはむしゃくしゃしていましたが いつまでもつづけて弾いているうちに ふっと何だかこれは鳥の方が本当のドレミファに はまっているかなという気がしてきました。どうも弾けば弾くほどかっこうの方がいいような気がするのでした。
「えい こんなばかなことしていたら おれは鳥になってしまうんじゃないか。」とゴーシュはいきなりぴたりとセロをやめました。
　するとかっこうは どしんと頭を叩かれたように ふらふらっとして それからまたさっきのように
「かっこうかっこうかっこうかっかっかっかっかっ」といってやめました。それから うらめしそうにゴーシュを見て
「なぜやめたんですか。ぼくらなら どんな意気地ないやつでも のどから血が出るまでは叫ぶんですよ。」といいました。
「何を生意気な。こんなばかなまねを いつまでしていられるか。もう出て行け。見ろ。夜があけるんじゃないか。」ゴーシュは窓を指さしました。
　東のそらが ぼうっと銀いろになって そこをまっ黒な雲が北の方へどんどん走っています。

代表的な日本の伝統色と西洋の色との比較

1.『朱色（しゅいろ）』は神社の鳥居でおなじみの鮮やかな赤です。

西洋の『バーミリオン』に似ていますが、朱色の方がやや温かみがあります。」



2.『藍色（あいいろ）』、藍染めの布や着物に使われています。

植物である「タデアイ」の葉を発酵させて作られる「すくも」という色素原料です。

西洋の『インディゴブルー』と似ていますが、藍色の深みは独特です。



3.『萌黄色（もえぎいろ）』、新緑のような若々しい緑色です。

西洋の『ライムグリーン』に近いですが、萌黄色はより穏やかで自然な印象です。」



4.『桃色』と『桜色』

桃色は西洋の『ピンク』に似ていますが、もっと柔らかく温かみがあります。

桜色は『ベビーピンク』に近いですが、ほんのり淡い儚さが特徴です。」



5.『群青色』。これは深みのある青で、
西洋の『ウルトラマリン』に似ていますが、群青色の方が落ち着いた印象を与えます。」


6.橙色(だいだいいろ) オレンジ色に似ている

みかんの色からきている。


* 簡単な歴史
「奈良時代や平安時代には、すでに多くの伝統色が存在していました。貴族の衣装には色による身分制度も影響していました。一方、西洋でも中世には色がステータスの象徴とされていました。」

色がどちらの文化でも重要な意味を持っていた


3. 一般的な使用例

 「神社の鳥居の朱色には特別な意味があるんですか？」

 「朱色は魔除けの力があると信じられており、防腐効果も持っています。西洋でも『バーミリオン』は神聖さや力の象徴とされていました。」

着物や陶器、和菓子、漆器、和紙にも伝統色が活かされていますよね。西洋でもファッションやインテリアに豊かな色彩が使われています。」
