Learning Italian can sometimes be challenging, and it’s completely normal not to understand everything in a conversation. Being able to ask for clarification will boost your confidence and help you engage more fully in your interactions.

In this episode, we’ll cover:

	•	Come? (What?)
	•	Puoi ripetere, per favore? (Can you repeat that, please?)
	•	Non ho capito. (I didn’t understand.)
	•	Cosa significa? (What does that mean?)
	•	Puoi parlare più lentamente, per favore? (Can you speak more slowly, please?)

These phrases are practical and easy to use, ensuring you can communicate effectively while learning. Remember, asking for clarification is a natural part of the language learning process!

Antes de comenzar la lectura:

1. ¿Qué le ocurre a un polo cuando lo sacamos del
congelador?

2. ¿Qué les ocurre a los cubitos de hielo
cuando los ponemos en un vaso de agua?

3. ¿Qué le ocurrió al burrito con el hielo?
Adivínalo.

Era invierno, hacía mucho frío y todos los caminos
estaban helados. El asno, que estaba cansado, no se
encontraba con ganas para caminar hasta el establo.

—iEa, aquí me quedo, ya no quiero andar más —se dijo, dejándose
caer al suelo.

Un hambriento gorrioncillo fue a posarse cerca de su oreja y le dijo;

—Asno, buen amigo, ten cuidado; no estás en el camino, sino en un
lago helado.

—¡Déjame, tengo sueño! Y con un largo bostezo, se quedó dormido.
Poco a poco, el calor de su cuerpo comenzó a fundir el hielo hasta
que, de pronto, se rompió con un gran chasquido.

El asno despertó al caer al agua y empezó a pedir socorro, pero nadie
pudo ayudarlo, aunque el gorrión quiso, pero no pudo.

In this episode we are going to learn 【Season】in Chinese.

As a beginner, there're some vocabularies that you didn't learn before, and native speaker's speed seems too fast to understand. But don't worry, let's do it step by step. 
1st time: listen and catch the words you know alreay, have a guess about the content.
2nd time: look at the text to check if you guessed it right. 
3rd time: listen one more time, repeat after it.
4th time: practise until you can speak as the normal speed without looking at the text.

yì nián yǒu sì gè jì jié 。
There are four seasons in a year.
春天、夏天、秋天和冬天。
chūn tiān 、 xià tiān 、 qiū tiān hé dōng tiān 。
Spring, summer, autumn and winter.
三月、四月和五月是春天。
sān yuè 、 sì yuè hé wǔ yuè shì chūn tiān 。
March, April and May are spring.
六月、七月和八月是夏天。
liù yuè 、 qī yuè hé bā yuè shì xià tiān 。
June, July and August are summer.
九月、十月和十一月是秋天。
jiǔ yuè 、 shí yuè hé shí yī yuè shì qiū tiān 。
September, October and November are autumn.
十二月、一月和二月是冬天。
shí èr yuè 、 yī yuè hé èr yuè shì dōng tiān 。
December, January and February are winter.
