はい、こんにちは。今回はポッドキャストのシーズン２の４回目です。大学の授業が始まりました。授業はオンラインです。日本でオンラインの授業が一般的になったのは、コロナウイルスが始まってからです。教授はまだZoomの操作に慣れていなくて、生徒の中には70代ぐらいの人もいたので、最初の授業ではトラブルがたくさん起こりました。
Hello. This is episode 4 of season 2 of my podcast. University classes have started. The classes are online. Online classes became common in Japan after the spread of the coronavirus. The professor was not yet familiar with how to work Zoom and some of the students were in their 70s, so there were a lot of technical problems in the first class.
今は仏教の歴史について勉強しています。ブッダの人生についての話です。ブッダについて書かれているインドの古い本では、正確な年号や情報がわからないため、仏教の研究は難しいそうです。インドで生まれた仏教の教えは、中国で翻訳されて、それから日本に伝わっています。そして京都や奈良にたくさんお寺が建てられました。なので、日本語にはインドから伝わった言葉が少しあります。ヨーロッパの言語とインドの言語は同じ言語から派生していますね。「派生する」とは、一つのものから生まれて、いろいろな種類に分かれることです。歴史を勉強すると、いろんな国の文化は同じルーツを持っているということがよくわかります。
Now I am studying about the history of Buddhism. It is about the life of Buddha. It is said that it is difficult to research Buddhism because the exact dates of events and the accuracy of information in the old Indian books about the Buddha are unclear. The teachings of Buddhism, which originated in India, were translated in China and then introduced to Japan. Then many temples were built in Kyoto and Nara. So the Japanese language has a few words that came from India. So European languages and Indian languages are Hasei-shiteiru from the same language. ‘Hasei-suru’ (to derive) means to come from one thing and divide into many different kinds of thing. Studying history, it is easy to see that the cultures of various countries have the same roots.
そして、今日はレッスンでAIの話をしました。生徒さんに、論文を作るAIの話を聞きました。このAIはプログラミングのバグを見つけたりするのに便利だそうですが、記事や、メールや、論文を書くこともできます。生徒さんに実際にAIが書いた論文を見せてもらいました。不自然なところはほとんどありませんでした。しかも、論文は日本語で書かれていました。とても驚きました。将来、学校の課題はなくなってしまうかもしれません。最近日本では、漫画やアニメのイラストを作るAIが人気ですが、著作権などが問題になっています。

कहानी बहुत छोटी सी है मुझे ऑल इण्डिया मेडिकल इंस्टीटयूट की सातवीं मंज़िल पर जाना था। अाई०सी०यू० में गाड़ी पार्क करके चला तो मन बहुत ही दार्शनिक हो उठा था। क़ितना दु:ख और कष्ट है इस दुनिया में...लगातार एक लड़ाई मृत्यु से चल रही है...अौर उसके दु:ख और कष्ट को सहते हुए लोग -- सब एक से हैं। दर्द और यातना तो दर्द और यातना ही है -- इसमें इंसान और इंसान के बीच भेद नहीं किया जा सकता। दुनिया में हर माँ के दूध का रंग एक है। ख़ून और आंसुओं का रंग भी एक है। दूध, खून और आँसुओं का रंग नहीं बदला जा सकता...शायद उसी तरह दु:ख़, कष्ट और यातना के रंगों का भी बँटवारा नहीं किया जा सकता। इस विराट मानवीय दर्शन से मुझे राहत मिली थी.... मेरे भीतर से सदियाँ बोलने लगी थीं। एक पुरानी सभ्यता का वारिस होने के नाते यह मानसिक सुविधा ज़रूर है कि तुम हर बात, घटना या दुर्घटना का कोई दार्शनिक उत्तर खोज सकते हो। समाधान चाहे न मिले, पर एक अमूर्त दार्शनिक उत्तर ज़रूर मिल जाता है।
और फिर पुरानी सभ्यताओं की यह खूबी भी है कि उनकी परम्परा से चली आती संतानों को एक आत्मा नाम की अमूर्त शक्ति भी मिल गई है -- और सदियों पुरानी सभ्यता मनुष्य के क्षुद्र विकारों का शमन करती रहती है...एक दार्शनिक दृष्टि से जीवन की क्षण-भंगुरता का एहसास कराते हुए सारी विषमताओं को समतल करती रहती है...
मुझे अपने उस मित्र की बातें याद आईं जिसने मुझे संध्या के संगीन ऑपरेशन की बात बताई थी ओर उसे देख आने की सलाह दी थी। उसी ने मुझे आई०सी०यू० में संध्या के केबिन का पता बताया था -- आठवें फ्लोर पर ऑपरेशन थिएटर्स हैं और सातवें पर संध्या का आ०सी०यू०। मेजर ऑपेरशन में संध्या की बड़ी आँत काटकर निकाल दी गई थी और अगले अड़तालीस घण्टे क्रिटिकल थे...
रास्ता इमरजेंसी वार्ड से जाता था। एक बेहद दर्द भरी चीख़ इमरजेंसी वार्ड से आ रही थी... वह दर्द-भरी चीख़ तो दर्द-भरी चीख़ ही थी-- कोई घायल मरीज असह्य तकलीफ़ से चीख़ रहा था। उस चीख़ से आत्मा दहल रही थी... दर्द की चीख़ और दर्द की चीख़ में क्या अन्तर था! दूध, ख़ून और आँसुओं के रंगों की तरह चीख़ की तकलीफ़ भी तो एक-सी थी। उसमें विषमता कहाँ थी?...
मेरा वह मित्र जिसने मुझे संध्या को देख आने की फ़र्ज अदायगी के लिए भेजा था,वह भी इलाहाबाद का ही था। वह भी उसी सदियों पुरानी सभ्यता का वारिस था। ठेठ इलाहाबादी मौज .....
