15 de septiembre: El Grito de Independencia.
Un evento histórico que marcó el inicio de la lucha por la independencia de México.
El Grito de Independencia es uno de los eventos históricos más importantes de nuestro país, pues marca el inicio de la lucha por la independencia de México y se conmemora cada 15 de septiembre.

El inicio del movimiento independentista comenzó cuando el cura Hidalgo incitó al pueblo de Dolores a levantarse en armas en contra del Virreinato, al convocarlos a todos a través del sonar de las campanas de su parroquia y gritando con elocuencia los motivos por los cuales no podían quedarse esperando sin participar de esta lucha. Es por esto que dicho evento es denominado como “El Grito”.

Para celebrar este acontecimiento histórico, se lleva a cabo una ceremonia liderada por el presidente de la República, en donde se tocan las campanas de Palacio Nacional, haciendo alusión al llamado  de Hidalgo, al mismo tiempo que se ondea la bandera de México y se brindan respetos a los héroes de la patria.

Mientras el presidente grita el nombre de cada uno de ellos, el pueblo reunido en la explanada del Zócalo de la Ciudad de México, grita con entusiasmo ¡Viva! ¡Viva!, expresión que representa el respeto y la admiración de la nación hacia estos personajes.

De acuerdo al protocolo El Grito de Independencia se lleva a cabo de la siguiente forma:

 

“¡Mexicanos!

¡Vivan los héroes que nos dieron patria!

¡Viva Hidalgo!

¡Viva Morelos!

¡Viva Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez!

¡Viva Allende!

¡Viva Aldama!

¡Viva la independencia Nacional!

¡Viva México!, ¡Viva México!, ¡Viva México!”

 

El Grito no solo se da a nivel nacional, sino que también puede ser representado a nivel estatal y municipal, en donde los gobernantes correspondientes llevan a cabo este acto desde sus respectivas sedes de gobierno.
