What are they? Here are some students' comments over the internet:

"Honestly my greatest fear in IELTS is the speaking section. I’ve taken the exam 6 times already since 2014 without hitting my target score of 7. Mental training, calming down, breathing exercises, and learning to cool down are some techniques you can take to elevate your score.

If it sounds new and you simply haven't heard of it, use it, and it will be a HUGE assistance for your WHOLE life.

In this episode we are going to learn a Real Chinese Conversation【Have a holiday 】.

Step 1: Listen and catch the words you know already, have a guess about the content.
Step 2: Check the script to learn one by one. 
Step 3: Listen and repeat after it.
Step 4: Practice until you can perform the dialogue.

A: 明天就放假了，你回老家吗？
míng tiān jiù fàng jià le ， nǐ huí lǎo jiā ma ？
Holiday is starting tomorrow! Are you going back to hometown?
B: 回啊，好不容易有8天的长假。
huí a ， hǎo bù róng yì yǒu bā tiān de cháng jià 。
Yes, we finally got an 8-day holiday.
A: 是啊，今年中秋节和国庆节一起放，好多人准备去旅游。
shì a ， jīn nián zhōng qiū jié hé guó qìng jié yì qǐ fàng ， hǎo duō rén zhǔn bèi qù lǚ yóu 。
Right, this year the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day are together, so many people are going to travel.
B: 你呢？有什么安排？
nǐ ne ？ yǒu shén me ān pái ？
What about you? What are your plans?
A: 我准备去新疆旅游，票和酒店都订好了。
wǒ zhǔn bèi qù xīn jiāng lǚ yóu ， piào hé jiǔ diàn dōu dìng hǎo le 。
I'm going to Xinjiang. I've booked tickets and hotels.
B: 这个季节新疆很漂亮，有的地方已经开始下雪了。
zhè gè jì jié xīn jiāng hěn piào liàng ， yǒu de dì fāng yǐ jīng kāi shǐ xià xuě le 。
Xinjiang is very beautiful this season, and It has begun to snow in some places.
A: 是啊，我很期待去看雪。
shì a ， wǒ hěn qī dài qù kàn xuě 。
Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing the snow.
B: 祝你玩得开心。
zhù nǐ wán de kāi xīn 。
Have a good time.
A: 你也是，回家一路顺风。
nǐ yě shì ， huí jiā yí lù shùn fēng 。
You too, have a safe trip home.
B: 我买不到高铁票，要开车回去。希望不要太堵车。
wǒ mǎi bú dào gāo tiě piào ， yào kāi chē huí qù 。 xī wàng bù yào tài dǔ chē 。
I could't get a high-speed train ticket. I have to drive back. I hope there's not too much traffic.
A: 是啊，堵车太麻烦了。
shì a ， dǔ chē tài má fán le 。
Yeah, traffic jam is too much trouble.

Patinage sur glace
Ce matin, sortant de son terrier, Romarin, le lapin, a trouvé l’étang gelé.
- Venez, les enfants, nous allons patiner.
Quelle joie, tous les lapereaux ont chaussé leurs patins et se sont élancés sur la glace.
- Attendez-moi, j'arrive, crie l'âne Désiré. 
- Non, tu vas casser la glace, tu es trop lourd, répond Romarin. 
Désiré n'écoute pas et avance sur l’étang… Craque! La glace se fend et il tombe dans l'eau glacée. 
- Vite, une corde, ordonne Romarin, nous allons l'attacher par la queue et le tirer tous ensemble.
- Merci, dit Désiré en grelottant, je vais faire du patin à roulettes, c'est moins dangereux!

Step into Their Shoes:  Each department has its own metrics for success.  Marketing might prioritize customer acquisition, while engineering focuses on product quality and  feasibility.  Understanding their goals fosters empathy and reveals potential areas of collaboration.

Communicate Clearly: Clearly outline your desired outcomes and explain how they align with the company's overall objectives. Frame your requests in a way that resonates with their priorities.

Finding Common Ground:

Focus on Benefits:  Negotiation shouldn't be a win-lose scenario.  Instead, seek solutions that provide value to all parties involved. Brainstorm creative solutions that address everyone's concerns.

Be Prepared to Compromise:  Recognize that concessions are often necessary. Identify areas where you have flexibility and be willing to make trade-offs that won't severely hinder your core objectives.

Active Listening and Collaboration:

Listen Attentively:  Pay close attention to their concerns and reservations. Ask clarifying questions to ensure a complete understanding of their perspective.

Collaborative Problem-Solving:  Work together to address challenges.  Their insights might reveal unforeseen roadblocks or opportunities you haven't considered.

Maintaining Positive Dynamics:

Respectful Demeanor:  Throughout the negotiation, maintain a professional and respectful tone.  Avoid accusatory language or dismissive attitudes.

Focus on the Future: Don't dwell on past disagreements.  Keep the conversation focused on reaching a mutually beneficial solution moving forward.

Consistency is key to measurable progress. Confidence is grown from control and preparation.
