I can't quite pinpoint what sparked my interest at the Grand Canyon, but one thing that certainly bored me was learning about its geography. It reminded me the names for different types of rocks in science, truly overwhelming. Remembering terms like sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rocks felt like a distant possibility, and it all seemed like a jumble. It's hard to imagine needing to recall all these rock names when I struggle to remember everyone I meet. One thing is for certain—I won't be pursuing a career as a geographer.
