As the internet developed a lot, you can enjoy your life without going out, order food, work from home and you can even make friends online. More and more people are making friends online. It's convenient because you don't need to go out and you can even make international friends to exchange your languages, cultures, experiences...etc. Even though making friends online is riskier because it's easier to be cheated, (you don’t need to use “but” to introduce the next clause of your sentence if you used “even though” in the previous clause) a lot of people are really sincere when it comes to making friends online. I’ve met my French best friend online, she is so nice, we communicate very well and we have a lot of things to share. Anyway, I think making friends online is a good choice, but it's better to be vigilant.
