It's sunny today. I am over the moon because my mom signed me up for a singing club. There, professional singers will be mentoring me to help me achieve my dream of becoming a singer. This has been a longing of mine for years. After finally persuading Dad, they spent a pretty penny on the tuition. Regardless of the hefty cost, I am confident that I will shine bright and become a star!

Let’s hope so. You will be my first famous friend! 😂

Very good. The only real mistake was "they" instead of "my parents", the other changes are optional and make your English sound more natural!
