For example, here in the Philippines, knowing a foreign language could land you a high-paying job in the corporate world. Some foreign languages that are in-demand or that could land you a well-paying corporate job here are Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, Thai, Vietnamese and French.
