Hello everyone) just listen the song "Slave to love". My question is -why "to"? Why not "Slave of love"? What's the difference? Or it the same?

Hi Irina. Yes, prepositions can be quite tricky. Slave "of" love would mean a slave that is part of or belonging to love; it would be "of" that love. Slave "to" love means that, although not owned by love, the slave is beholden to love, meaning compelled to service love in some way. It's hard to imagine, because both are slaves, but one is compulsory and the other is not as much so; however, we are splitting hairs here. Both are similar. I hope this clarifies things.
