Sorry to disturb native English speakers. 1a. You may consider the matter settled. 1b. You may consider the matter as settled. Which is grammatically correct? Do they have the same meaning ? 2a. Please, consider the order as cancelled. 2b. Please, consider the order cancelled. Which is grammatically correct? Do they have the same meaning ?

Hello. I am a native (US) speaker. For both sets of sentences, they both have the same meaning and I do not consider either one technically grammatically wrong, but 1a and 2b (without the 'as') are more how a native speaker would speak/write it.

I'd agree on the whole - I think 1b is absolutely fine (and perhaps better than 1a for writing) but 2a is a bit weird to me, I think because it relates to an action in the past - the cancellation - whereas "as" implies an ongoing state of affairs. I think also the commas in 2 are wrong (sorry).
