When I was 10 years old, I used to play soccer (football) on the street with some friends of mine. I was one of the best players, but I was the shortest one of them too. That’s why I wasn’t as fast as they were! Playing football on the beach or on the street is very common for children who are poor and live in small towns in Brazil. It was one of the best things I did in my childhood, because I learned so much by doing it.
