This topic reminds me of other phenomena such as the fact that more and more senior students get a master degree after their four-year university life. Though a part of them really want to get a higher degree, most of them don't. Assuming that they can get a great job after graduating from university, would all of them choose to start another academic life? You know that most of them have been studying for over 20 years since they began to memorize words when they were children. This example can also explain that why more and more people make friends online. The purpose of making friends is for sure to earn respect and happiness from them, but more and more people just want to get benefits from others. Even this is the only rule for some people to make friends in reality. In that case, more and more people get tired of meeting people in person in such an era dominated by the internet. They began to focus exclusively on the internet. They just want to create a clean and nice environment to make friends like they did many years ago. Especially in a chat group, the host can make a rule that every guest must to respect. They usually share the same interests. The owner can ban anyone from the group whenever they break the rule. Usually, any trades are banned in order to protect all the members from being scammed. Everyone really likes the feeling of equity online, it sounds great!
