Hello! Please rewrite this email in a professional way for me thank you! “Dear Mr.James, Hope all is well! Please note that yesterday we just received the purchases invoices from Dana, and I asked her for the sales invoices but no answer should I proceed with the VAT return with the purchases invoices only or should I wait for the sales invoices? Thank you, Dina “

There are some nuances here that could impact the wording of your email. First, James can be a first name, and it can be a last name. If it is this person's last/family name, then addressing him as Mr. James is correct. If it is his first name, then I would either drop the Mr. and simply address him as James or, alternately, use Mr. HisLastName. The latter is the more formal option. Secondly, indicating that you have just received something may suggest that you have been waiting for it for a long time. For example, "I asked Dana for the invoices a week ago, but only just received them this morning." If this is not what happened, I would likely omit the "just". That said, I would write the email something along the lines of: " (Mr.?) James, Hope all is well. We received the purchase invoices from Dana yesterday. I have asked her for the sales invoices, but have yet to receive a response. Should I proceed with the VAT return with only the purchase invoices, or should I wait for the sales invoices? Thank you, Dina"
