My former colleague from Germany is the only person I know who comes from a different culture. When I was in my first year at the company, he came in as an intern for his thesis. My supervisor allowed us to be trained together because we were both new. That's how we became acquainted.
At the time, I was learning about German culture from Germany, such as how they went to the bar every Friday night and liked pork or cheese noodles. They had us over to their apartment and made traditional German noodles with cheese. They also instructed us on how to play poker. So I took them to a Chinese restaurant to sample some Chinese cuisine, including Chinese liquor, lungs, and blood. And they were surprised to find so many strange foods in China that they had never tried before.
For me, our relationship has given me a different feeling because it was the first time I met a friend from another country, so it is significant. Even though he has been back in Germany for quite some time, we are still in contact. After hearing about it from him, I'd like to go to Germany to work and live for a while.
